İbnu Abbâs radıyallahu anh anlatıyor: “Cüveyriye Bintu’l-Hâris’in ismi Berre idi. Resûlullah aleyhissalâtu vesselâm onun ismini Cüveyriye diye değiştirdi. Zira Resûlullah aleyhissalâtu vesselâm “Berre’nin yanından çıktı” denmesini sevmiyordu.
